Staff doctors practice in all areas of medicine. Specialists are consulted, when appropriate, in all of these disciplines. Some of them are available to come to our facility and some are used on a referral basis. In all cases, the level of care most appropriate for the individual patient is the guiding principle. The following is a list of our areas of major emphasis:
Puppy training and adult behavior problems. Behavior modification and drug therapy are used alone or in combination.
Routine cleaning, periodontal care, extractions, root canals, oral surgery.
Allergies, ear problems, parasites, tumors, autoimmune diseases
X-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, blood pressure, EKG,
Targeted age-appropriate screening and management of geriatric diseases.
In-house and referral laboratories and all diagnostic modalities are used as needed to diagnose and treat metabolic, endocrine, inflammatory and infectious diseases.
Obesity management, healthy animal counseling, prescription diets
Glaucoma testing, cataracts, ulcers, infectious and inflammatory conditions
Congenital and traumatic injuries to soft tissue, joints & bones, arthritis management, lameness
Health screening exams and laboratory screening for all ages, vaccinations, preventive and therapeutic programs for all parasites
Soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries of nearly all types are routinely performed in our facility by staff doctors and specialists with thorough pre-surgical evaluation and attentive monitoring by trained veterinary assistants.
